On the Job
The SafeWorkPro system lets your workers on the job complete HSEQ plus documents such as Risk Assessments, Pre-Starts, Checklists, and have read only access to other Company documents all from their device/phone, with quick online submission to allow for the easy handling of document submissions.
Risk Assessments and Safe Work Method Statements
Risk assessments are able to be completed by staff before they start a job and submitted either to their Manager/Supervisor or emailed direct to a third party, pre loaded SWMS documents from your Company are able to be called up into the Risk Assessment a unique feature of Safeworkpro.
1. Login to your SafeWorkPro app using the details in your welcome email
or using your Fast Login access PIN
2. Upon logging in, you will be presented with an activity page, this screen lists the submissions(documents)completed for that day. Search via the Date selection box for previously completed submissions.
3. You can now navigate using the menu in the top right-hand corner (as pictured below) this is the hamburger icon or three horizontal lines next to the sync cloud icon..
Please note! We are only describing the use of the documents section so your team get a quick start in completing a document(submission).
Completing Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements and other HSEQ plus documents
Risk assessments are able to be completed by staff before they start a job and submitted either to their Manager/Supervisor or emailed direct to a third party, pre-loaded SWMS documents from your Company are able to be called up into the Risk Assessment.
4. Click the documents icon and select the document that you would like to complete and submit
(i.e RiskAssessment)by tapping the icon.
Select "Create " button in the centre of the screen.
5. The new document template will appear. As it is longer than a standard phone screen, you will be required to scroll to see all of the content. Content can be viewed in portrait or landscape by rotating the device.
6. Select a Site- If the site you require does not exist, then you will need to create one before you can finish filling out this form. The instructions for creating a site are detailed below-
Select Sites from app menu and Click Create to enter Site details screen-
Complete required details for your specific site and Click 'Save Site', your Site is now available to use within your documents. (see picture below)
7. At this point you can now complete the form including the Description of the job- Enter the details of the Job/Task that you are undertaking.
8. Attaching a SWMS for High Risk Work (if being performed)
Workers need to ensure they complete information such as selecting the high risk work task (shown below) before moving to add a SWMS.
A. Enter number from above in the Job Step field and select from drop down list. (all fields will auto fill)
B. Confirm the correct SWMS is attached in the Procedures field (click the field to veiw the drop down selections: click the icon beside to preveiw the attached SWMS)
C. Press Blue + button to add the step and attach the SWMS
D. Repeat as many times as required
E. Don't forget to Click the Blue + button to enter your last completed Step. otherwise your form will not be saved.
Note:- the relevent SWMS will have to be uploaded to your Site Safety Documents by an Admin user.
9. General Hazards.
Workers need to ensure they complete information to ensure that there are no other hazards that may be identified before work commences that they now need to note and control
This must be completed before moving to sign off
A. Select the number of the "General Hazard and Controls" from the list of 40 options provided above, enter it into the "Risk/Hazard No". field.
B. Score the Risk using the Matrix above before the controls are in place, and after the controls are in place, enter scores in the approriate fields and complete extra lines as required.
10. Sign Off
Select the Worker in charge from the drop down list and sign the document.
Select all members of the work party from the Signatures section and sign the document.
11. Click FINISH to submit your document, otherwise the form will not be saved and the data will be lost.
